How do you keep a single cigar fresh on the way home, or for days when there is no humidor waiting? The association has developed its own solution: a resealable freshness pouch in an elegant black design that reliably protects cigars from drying out.
The pouch was realised together with partners from the industry and is handed out through the association's member shops. Simply ask for it on your next visit; your retailer will also advise you on how cigars are best kept on the go and at home.
Whether questions about Austria's tobacco monopoly, the future of the tobacconists or the culture of enjoyment around cigars and pipes: the association is available to journalists as a point of contact and represents the concerns of more than 70 specialist shops all over Austria.
