When you access the website, the web server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type) in log files. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted automatically after a short time and are not combined with other data.
This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising services. The fonts are stored locally on our server; no connection is made to Google Fonts or comparable services.
To learn how many people visit our website and which pages interest them, we use the privacy-friendly analytics service Umami (Umami Software, Inc.) in its cloud version with data storage in the European Union. Umami works without cookies and without fingerprinting. The data transmitted are the page accessed, the referring website, browser and device type and the IP address; the latter is used only to determine the approximate location (country, city) and is not stored. If you wish, you can share your device location to find nearby specialist shops. The calculation takes place exclusively in your browser on your device. Your location is neither transmitted to our server nor to third parties, and it is not stored. Sharing is voluntary (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and can be revoked at any time via your browser settings.
Map links open Google Maps in a new window. Only when you click do you leave our website; from then on the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. We do not embed Google maps on our pages.
If you contact us by e-mail or use the profile form as a member shop, we process the information provided to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Profile data of member shops (address, opening hours, specialisations, photo) are published on the basis of the shop's express consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future, informally to office@vcpoe.at.
